I replied to someone saying that the USSR defeated the Nazis saying that it was a group effort. Got into an argument and called a Nazi repeatedly because “I was mad that the USSR defeated the Nazis and hated them for it” which is ridiculous. This isn’t the first time that’s happened on Lemmy. What’s up with that?

Mentioning lemmy.ml in a thread in lemmy.world is like a bat signal to them. All the tankies come out of their hibernation to spread their bullshit. It’s pretty funny and sad.
It reminds me of the olden days when inter-forum and later inter-subreddit drama was more of a thing. Meta reddit basically died as it got turned into a dripfeed of algorithmic misery rather than a collection of boards, but Lemmy is literally a collection of decentralised boards so it’s just reverting to the norm.
They need to brigade in order to preserve their narratives: https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/post/76613775
So a .world post calling out .ml is right and normal. But a Hexbear post calling out .world is EVIL TARGETED BRIGADING. Gotcha.
Calling out .world for what, exactly?
Yes, calling out actions is different than encouraging users to get into threads and attack users discussing your actions.
Is this why y’all think Russia is being defensive by invading ?
It’s maybe one old incel maskarading like a group from .ml
They’re so sad and bitter. It’d be sad if it wasn’t so pathetic.
