Were people generally accepting of your ambulatory wheelchair status? In my experience people assume that if I have a wheelchair I must be super-glued to it at all times, and make weird comments if I ever stand up
Yeah, people have been super cool about it at furry stuff and kink stuff. But both of those scenes attract people who are able to understand that you can’t fit everybody in a box.
Funny, because the kinkies and furries I know would love a chance to squeeze as many people as possible into the smallest space available and call that a good cuddle.
