Inspired by the opposite question posted recently, what YouTube creators have you watched for a long time and still find worth returning to? Alternatively, what are some new high quality channels you have been enjoying?

Most of my staples have been mentioned, but I want to give a shout out to Food Wishes, America’s Test Kitchen and That Dude Can Cook, Chef Jean-Pierre. Been cooking staples for years now. Also, Hey Grill Hey but it’s younger.

For drinks, How To Drink (though I feel they’ve been chasing algorithms and losing focus and soul), City-Steady Brewing, Cocktail Chemistry and Cocktail Time with Kevin Kos.

For politics, I go to Parkrose Permaculture and Farm to Taber. Both excellent and insightful even if I’m not always in full agreement.

For woodworking, it’s StumpyNubs, Blacktail Studio (highly recommend even if you’re not into woodworking), The Wood Whisperer. Lincoln Street Woodworking is newer but I still enjoy it.

I’m a car guy and honestly this space has become dismal. I watch Stay Tuned every Friday or weekend at least. I voted my conscience and unsubbed from Matt’s Offroading, Rat Rod Racing, Robby Layton and all of the Utahbers. While I can’t be certain I’m guessing they all voted for Trump and I just can’t support that shit. Oh and I really enjoy Regular Car Reviews

Parkside Permaculture moved her political commentary to a new channel called Parkrose Resistance

I forgot about that. I subscribe to both so don’t notice day to day. Good catch, thank you.

I’m up and down with Regular Car Reviews. I feel like he’s cut back on reviewing and ramped up on describing the car and stereotypical driver with long, grindy, sexual analogies. I thought older reviews were more focused. Maybe I’m wrong. I can’t remember what the last video I watched was but I remember not remembering any details about the car. It’s recent, too. The green gen 3/4 viper maybe?

I guess I got info from a recent Tacoma or Frontier video that was positive. I was so excited to see he did a comparable Ranger video several years ago but blasted the model. Either he’s re-lensed his opinion of ~2005 compact pickups or I’m missing out

Big fan of StumpyNubs and Lincoln Street. Workshop Companion is pretty great too, and has a good mix of both hand tool and power tool woodworking. The host used to teach, and it really comes through in his presentation style, he makes some of the most informative, information-dense videos on woodworking YouTube.

For car stuff I follow rich rebuilds, samcrac, tavarish. I really dislike bro car YouTubers so these guys are fun. Tavarish is getting up there in popularity but it doesn’t seem to have gone to his head.
