The odd thing is that it is very inclusive, race or gender or other silly divisive thing counts less when it is about cars.
Okay, so I’m afraid I’m still having trouble connecting the dots here. How does society’s general dependence upon cars lead to the police releasing the driver despite having killed two people? History has long shown that would be much less likely to happen for someone who’s not Caucasian, and - while I can see “carbrain” being a contributor to how the situation has been handled - I highly doubt it’s the overriding factor as you seem to suggest.
