Sometimes I see top-level comments on a post that, from their content, appear to be replying to other comments within the post. Is there some bug that makes them appear as top-level comments rather than replies to the comment they’re responding to? Or are people just bad at replying to the correct comment? I never see this on reddit so I’m confused why I’m seeing so many cases of it on lemmy.
