This is why I believe in the death penalty. I don’t even care if you killed any of the cyclists. Do that kind of shit you deserve to be put to death.
Death penalty is putting your life in the hands of a justice system influence by a government that may or may not act in the best interest of people at any given time.
What part of “thou shalt not kill” (the state included) was not clear to you?

Exactly. No empathy? You don’t deserve to live in a society.
Then exile or imprison them. Societies don’t have the moral authority to make the decision that someone doesn’t deserve to live, just that someone can’t participate in their society.
