But if it’s on freaking social media (federated or otherwise) just block and move on, dont feed into it. We don’t even know what corner of the world they actually live in. Think about all the horrible people in the world in positions of power – they all get tons of negative attention online and they harness that negative attention into real-world benefits for them.

Ive blocked dozens of instances because i dont like them. Just do it and move on – no, nobody else was getting tired of lemmy because the rest of us block instances and users we dont like and enjoy our experience instead.
