I write code without AI. And I like it that way.
I write stories, I draw, I animate, I DM my D&D games, all without AI.
Because, funny enough, the intellectual and creative labor is highly rewarding, and handing that to a robot seems ridiculous. Especially when it can’t even do it right. This isn’t like using power tools to make furniture. This is like using power tools to sculpt a very delicate statue.
Have fun spending hours fixing shit the bot broke.
I’m shocked that no one has mentioned the Rocketeer.
It’s a cult movie about an out-of-work pilot and his mechanic who find a jetpack. They want to use it to try and fly more airshows and get out of debt. But the mob wants it back because they stole it for a Hollywood movie star, who’s secretly a Nazi spy. And the FBI wants it because they want it back to keep it out of the hands of the Nazis. Meanwhile, the dude is just trying his best to survive, and accidentally ends up being a superhero.
It’s such a great movie, if you liked Indiana Jones, you’ll like the Rocketeer.
