it will never not irk me the way that neurotypicals will ask a question about something when they literally do not WANT an answer–because if you try to answer their question they accuse you of ‘making excuses’.
what they REALLY mean is “I hate that, I don’t want it to be that way. I don’t want you to tell me why it is, I want to lead you to changing your mind by making you rethink it so you might understand why I think it shouldn’t be like that”
