Get off of Github if you think this is a problem 🤷 There are alternatives like Forgejo (Codeberg), Gitlab, and Radicle (decentralised).


I’m still amazed people use and browse the septic tank of the internet. Xitter just won’t stop.


It’s highly likely they have huge salaries to go along with it. There are worse ways to spend your time.


From reading the blog post, I’m guessing you’re right. They now have to understand what the AI did and clean up after it. But they will do so with more AI. It’s doubtful there will anybody who actually understands the codebase.
Do it. You’ll learn something new. Maybe you’ll even contribute to the code.
