He’s not talking about what he believes, he’s a nihilist

Respectfully disagree based on my personal experience being raised in a church that was very focused on revelations. IMO you’d have to grow up believing it yourself to understand.

He’s saying what would have to be true to justify what he plans to do.

Yea their logic is circular but I promise you they fucking believe this shit.

Barring specific evidence to the contrary, both Occam & Halon’s razers apply here. It is both a simpler explanation that he believes the scriptures in his religion AND there is no malice required for stupidity to explain what he’s saying.

I’m not saying JD is above lying to his followers and faking faith. But I am saying that I don’t think he’s smart enough to do that and he’s probably 100% serious.

This revelations talk is conditioning them towards violence.

you weren’t brought up by Peter Thiel, and probably didn’t go to Yale Law (no offense intended, most of us didn’t)

Neither were the thousands to millions of christo-fascists currently being stoked toward violence. https://streamable.com/2yj2tj

JD believing what he’s saying is irrelevant when his audience believes it. He uses coded language that has charged meanings in Christian circles.

EoD smart americans should not assume dumb americans don’t believe that crap. Cuz they do.

Of course, but that wasn’t the point.

The point in question was that JD Vance very likely does not believe this bullshit, irrespective of what his followers believe or do

            that wasn’t the point.

But what is your point? You’ve contributed nothing to this conversation. I find your comments vapid and annoying.

              you said:

I’m not saying JD is above lying to his followers and faking faith. But I am saying that I don’t think he’s smart enough to do that and he’s probably 100% serious.

And I pointed out that being a Yale Law graduate and was brought into the fold by Peter Thiel himself.

So my point, to refute your original one: JD Vance is a liar who does not believe this crap. Regardless of what others believe. That is the whole of my argument.

The personal attacks are not necessary.
