And when we finally try to improve things, giving more options for people to get around our cities, and decreasing car DEPENDENCY, they have the audacity to claim that’s a #WarOnCars.

It’s always projection. There very much is a war and one side is guarding all the doors and holding all the keys, so to speak.
Cars had first mover advantage in the construction of most cities in the Midwest and west and unfortunately there is no unfucking everything being a spread out disaster making even adding transit not as effective.
The best-funded lobbiests work for oil and real estate developers who suck fantastic amounts of public money to support their bottom lines and needs.
