Don’t buy the lie about a war on cars. They’ve been waging a WAR ON WALKING for a century.
Once we open our eyes to the damage done by the #WarOnWalking, it’s impossible NOT to see it.
And when we finally try to improve things, giving more options for people to get around our cities, and decreasing car DEPENDENCY, they have the audacity to claim that’s a #WarOnCars.

This morning on the way to work, I watched a kid of maybe 10 riding a scooter and having to navigate around a couple of cars that were in such a godawful hurry for some reason. If he had been run over and killed, the driver of the car might have got a ticket. A citation. For killing a child, because he was trying to get to school.
Im still mad about it.
