Nobody likes a dangling nozzle.

Now THATS a proper doohickey 😌
Mine uses a weight on the hose under the sink to keep it in place.
Standard solution as far as I know. Everything else seems overengineered.
Sometimes the weight has to be moved up or down the tube a bit to balance draw better but that’s rarely necessary after initial installation.
My first thought was, is the hose and weight obstructed below the sink? Had the same issue but it was just some stuff that had been pushed too far back.
Damn, that’s a nice doohickey.
I kept the weight from the old faucet and put it on with the new one. It is doubly weighted and flies back in to position.
Fuckin magnets, how do they work?
My favorite hobby is magnets.
love me a doohickey
Yeah I really hate it when my nozzle is dangling.
Get used to it. As you get old it spends all it’s time just dangling…
Curious what the process was for this, were the magnets cut in half from the factory or were the holes big enough to slip everything through?
Two opposing 10x3 magnets placed in holes on each side. Both pairs are separated by 0.8 mm of plastic so they don’t directly touch.
A water faucet? With magnets? Not under MAGA science my friend. /s (Good fix though, in all seriousness).
Yeah I just have to be careful to not let water get on the magnets since that’s the end of the magnets. 🙄
You can fix this by rubbing some ivermectin on the hose.
The best doohickeys have magnets
Yea, you should verify the counterwight under the sink is working correctly, or isn’t being blocked by stuff under there.
It probably is. I just didn’t know enough about how these worked so I used an excuse to use my 3D printer and magnets. Works well enough now.
