Isn’t there this paradoxical thing that additional roads can lead to longer travel times for everyone? I think it has something to do with things like these. I guess there was a veritasium episode about it.

The clover interchange is the most cursed interchange, and also the most common because it’s relatively cheap.
It’s common in areas where there’s a lot of undeveloped land when it’s built.
Otherwise it’s the most expensive by far because it takes a fuckton of land.
