Took me quite a few years to realize: when looking at usefulness of AI, I think in terms of “does it help me do my work better”. A lot of other people only think of “does it help to spew out more <whatever. lines of code? bug fixes? releases?>”

I am still shaking my head about this. Were it framed like “ahem, we don’t like those words anymore and think that these are better”, I would have no issues at all. But no, they just had to drag history of black people (for those about to be offended: I come from a place were “black” and even “removed” do not have any negative connotations whatsoever) into fucking programming. That is idiotic
