Tl;dr: 75-yo old woman attacks the employees over a sandwich, rips hair from one of them, put that hair in her purse, calls the police and dies.
At that point, two other employees intervened, and as they were pulled apart, a “chunk of hair” was pulled from the shift lead’s head, “leaving a raw area.”
Once separated, the employees got behind the counter and Grayson sat down, taking a phone call. She was seen picking up the shift lead’s hair and putting it in her bag, police said.

miserable people who are dying of health issues and whose daily life nothing but despair and pain.
that’s who.
my dad was the same way as this lady. spend the last 5 years of his life slowly dying and taking it out on other people.
Man that’s awful, I feel for you. My dad spent the last five years of his life fighting for every gulp of air in miserable pain and took it out on absolutely no one. Well, unless he happened to see someone park in a handicapped spot without a sticker. Then there was hell to pay.
wow cool. your dad was better than my dad.
too bad I didn’t get a choice of what kind of dad to have. Nobody does.
Kinda seems like you’re following in your dad’s footsteps
To each their own, though
Oh, did my comment make you feel personally assaulted and attacked?
Why is it whenever I see your comments you’re being a little pants pisser. I just do not understand what your problem is. You must be the most miserable person I’ve ever seen on lemmy.
No, I just saw someone who said their dad was a miserable asshole reply to someone with a very “I’m a miserable asshole” energy.
So, be happy that your dad would be proud of you. You’re a chip off the old block.
I dont know, out of everyone involved, you seem the most like a miserable old cunt taking shit out on other people with your nasty, undeserved, unwarranted comment.
Projections a hell of a drug, I guess.
You’ll get that elusive reading comprehension some day, maybe.
Gotta keep trying though. Don’t give up.
I wish you would give up this trite and boring exercise.
Is “taking it out on other people” the same as physically attacking them? Because she could have killed these young people if they hadn’t defended themselves and banded together. She might have snuffed out their entire lives because she felt shitty!
I genuinely feel bad for your dad and for this lady. It’s terrible and it’s unfair. But, like anyone dealing with something chronic, it’s also their responsibility to manage. If they can’t, they have no business being in society with other people…
just because it’s their responsibility to manage it doesn’t mean they can manager it. or their loved ones can.
do you think we should lock everyone up who is dealing with physical and mental problems that may overwhelm them? throw my dad in jail because what, he’s in so much pain and depression that he can’t think straight?
what about my mom who had dementia? oh right, well yeah we did put her in ‘jail’ in a full time care facility, but it also cost us $12,000/mo.
If they’re going around attacking people yeah. People like that need to be handled, not allowed to go around inflicting themselves on everyone else. It sucks but minimum wage workers aren’t trained or compensated to be carers for the mentally unwell.
“carers for the mentally unwell” get minimum wage too.
